Mulai bekerja sebagai Guru sejak tahun 1974 hingga berhasil menjadi Guru Profesional melalui Sertifikasi tahun 2007. Sejak tahun 2009 tercatat sebagai peserta angkatan pertama pada Program S.2 / Pascasarjana Teknologi Pembelajaran di STKIP Garut, hingga lulus sebagai Magister Pendidikan pada bulan Juli 2011. Saat ini masih aktif dan energik sebagai PNS dengan tugas sebagai Guru mata pelajaran Geografi di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Garut.
