I am a simple guy who came from a humble background. Signed on to the Republic of Singapore Navy back in my polytechnic days in 2006 and left the force at 2012.
Looked around for proprietary trading jobs and other finance related jobs after I ORD as I have deep passion and expertise in trading and investing. I got accepted by one of a proprietary trading firm but I rejected them and joined Prudential in mid 2012 instead.
It was a really bold move as I did not have any sales experience. However after 6 months into the business, I realised that this is not a sales job but rather a business that can work with many different individuals to achieve their financial goals.
