I attended Key School from '71-'77. Memorable events include getting beat up by Irit Tamir & Karen Finstein, who hit me over the head repeatedly with their violin cases (they took their violins out first so they wouldn't be damaged). In their defense, I have to say that they warned me first, but I still showed up after school for my beating anyway!
In 1977 I began attending the school next to Key, which was Frost Middle School. It is now called Eleanor Roosevelt, or some such nonsense. I got beat up there too, got into Dungeons and Dragons and Black Sabbath, made a wooden duck on a stick in shop class, and watched Steven Rabakoff throw a chair over the whole student body during lunch which
