About
The Detroit Disco Project is Detroit's premier Jazz Funk, Rare Groove, and Revival Funk Collective coming out of Detroit's music scene. We are a 6-9 piece collective made up of professional and street-wise musician's from the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The band includes:
Keith "the professor" Gamble- tenor saxaphone
a 30 plus year veteran of teaching music in the Detroit Public
schools, and a Detroit-based professional Jazz artist
Nick Hansinger- trumpet
Nick is classically trained trumpet player from Wayne State
University, an active musician and yoga instructor at the
Yoga Shelters throughout Michigan
Chris Emmerson- guitar
Chris teaches guitar at the Grosse Pointe Music
