Viktor Frankl wrote, To find deeper meaning, according to someones opinion, one must be able to transcend the narrow confines of a self-centered existence and believe that one will make a significant contribution to life. Author Leo Rosten said, Nothing is more rewarding than the effort a man makes to matterto count, to stand for something, to have it make some difference that he lived at all. In some way, then, a sense of meaninglessness arises when an individual, in looking back over his life, feels that he has not accomplished anything of valuethere are no monuments or testaments to mountains climbed or deeds worthy of great men.
