Two new support ideas and the materials:
Family Reading Parties and Family Math Parties.
Both of these involve having a teacher host a session with about 10 parents from their school. The session is to help parents gain ideas and strategies to help parents work at home with their children. The program provides materials, handouts and the schools can provide stipends for the teachers and snacks through Title I parent involvement funds...
