The Health Information Systems Programme (HISP) is a global network established, managed and coordinated by the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo.
We design, implement, and sustain Health Information Systems following a participatory approach to support local management of health care delivery and information flows in selected health facilities, districts, and provinces, and its further spread within and across developing countries.
At the core of HISP is the development of the open source software DHIS 2, a tool for collection, validation, analysis, and presentation of aggregate and transactional data, tailored to integrated health information management activities.
