I love exploring, riding bikes, traveling by any means, finding new places, futzing with things and learning. I've spent the better part of the past five years living in Austin, Texas, though really I've rarely been in one spot longer than 6 months. In that time, I've lived in a tent for months at a clip, rode a bike built out of garbage to Mexico, traveled around China while writing about it, converted and lived in a 1995 Astro Van, lived in a vegetarian co-op (twice), run the volunteer tickets crew at the Kerrville Folk Festival and got a masters of journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. Oh, and I write about technology and the Internet for ReadWriteWeb.
