This document summarizes an agenda for a one-day event hosted by Arup exploring prototyping. The agenda includes three sessions on accessing tools for prototyping, the business of prototyping, and scaling prototyping. Presenters will discuss Arup's various labs for smart geometry, lighting, and sound, as well as personal experiences using 3D printers in offices and outsourcing 3D printing. Other talks will focus on how making your own tools influences design, brand agencies using hand drawing, electronic artisans, open source making, and how makerspaces make prototyping easier.
