After spending 9 years with Booking.com, I decided to try and transpose what I learned there to a range of smaller-size businesses.
At Booking.com, I was lucky to be involved in the earliest stages of many projects over the years : email marketing, user accounts, frontend, personalisation, and many other things. Then I worked a lot on Hadoop, Hive, Oozie and the whole Big Data stack, making them reliable and accessible to the non-specialist.
I am now working as an independent consultant on data architectures and processes, scalability, online experiments, and generally on helping people align technical stacks with business priorities.
