Along with his fee for service, Donald Crowe, Ph.D., provides free psychotherapy services for people without homes within the Oakland Diocese of the Catholic Church. Dr. Crowe also teaches a course titled "The How of Happiness" through which he encourages people to concentrate their efforts on utilizing their natural strengths (such as kindness) rather than weaknesses (such as over-thinking problems) to gain contentment. In addition, Dr. Crowe encourages participants to focus on the present and to ground their lives in gratitude.
