I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in the agricultural parish of St. James located in the small city of Vacherie. After watching the agricultural industry change, people lose jobs, and farmers lose businesses, I decided early in life that I wanted to become a business woman who kept current with changes in the economy and in the business world.
