- 13. SKIING IN RLINGEN We have lots of places for both cross-country and downhill skiing in our district Theres even a small ski-jump and skipark at a nearby school.
- 14. STMARKA stmarka is a forest area located east of Oslo. There are two nature reserves in stmarka The new school year often starts with a hiking trip in stmarka
- 15. NORTHERN YEREN Glomma runs into yeren. Northern yeren is a large nature reserve in R脱lingen and surrounding areas The nature reserve is the largest inland delta in Norway and was important for floating timber in the past.
- 16. MOTDAMMEN This lake in the stmarka is just a few minutes from school. This is a popular area for fishing and outdoor activities, and there are many places for swimming around the lake. We have many school activities around the lake
- 17. SANDBEKKEN UNGDOMSSKOLE Sandbekken is one of the two middle schools in R脱lingen. There are 310 pupils aged 13-16 and a staff of 35.
- 18. Our school was built in 1975 and renovated in 2003, the school has a 25m pool and large sports hall, a sand volleyball pitch,a skating ramp and two astroturf football pitches
- 19. Sandbekken staff 2013-2014 originate from eight different countries
- 20. 9th grade pupils 2013-2014 These are the pupils who are working directly with the Comenius project
- 22. There is a 10 minute break to change classroom between lessons
