This document outlines three ways that a matrix marketing program can be filled through a combination of "upline spillover" and personal effort: 1) Through referrals from an upline and a participant's own referrals filling the matrix. 2) By having referrals from an upline and a participant's referrals fill new matrices. 3) By having a single active referral fill all slots in a matrix. It also explains that a participant's direct referrals will fill the next available vacant slots in their current matrix.
