Originally the clan stemmed from the Franciscos during the Spanish occupation of the Philippines.
About 6 generations ago there were 12 brothers and 4 sisters who were opposed to the rule of the Spaniards. These patriots were against the invaders telling them how to live their lives so they decided to fight back in their own terms. The brothers rebelled and killed the foreign occupants every chance they got. Eventually they dealt a severe blow to the regime that the government started taking notice and branded them "Los Diablos" - The Devils. History books tells us Filipinos were submissive at that time except for a few brave souls
