Chris is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism at CSU East Bay. Prior to the his work at Cal State, Chris worked in the recreation field for 20 years developing aquatics, teens, fitness events and summer playground programs. Chris has researched, written on, and presented on the topic of leadership and team building development throughout California. Chris holds a Doctorate in Management/Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Chris works with Total Aquatic Management and is the owner of Leading Edge Training and Development, a staff development and operational planning company.
