Dr. Kamal Shah Pandeka Sutan Rajo Sati, is the President of Perguruan Silat Lintau, which is based in Kelantan. He began studying Silat Lintau in 1975 under the tutelage of Guru Ahmad bin Rashid.
At the end of 1977, he was upgraded to the rank of Jurulatih and in 2002 his Guru Ahmad bin Rashid gave the title pewaris to Dr. Kamal.
After 36 years of practicing Silek Lintau, in June, 2011 Dr. Kamal with two others went to Lintau where he met with the Tuo Silek of Lintau from all nine districts of Lintau (Sembilan Koto). There he was acknowledged to be a true Silat Lintau practitioner and was awarded the Gelaran Pendekar 'Pandeka Sutan Rajo Sati' by the President of Tuo Silek of Minangkaba
