I received my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Caltech in 1996. After leaving Caltech, I have been on the business side of science. I have worked in at least 4 start-ups, twice serving as CEO. I have also served as a consultant to dozens of companies in the laboratory reagents and diagnostics markets. I usually concentrate on the focus of the executive team, industry relationship development, fund-raising, investor management and developing collaborations or acquisitions.
