Lawrence Winkler is an ancient physician and phenomenologist, traveler, and natural philosopher. As a young man, he hitchhiked around the world, for five transformative years. Since 1988, he has worked as a Consultant Specialist Physician in Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the American College of Physicians, with professional interests in Difficult Diagnoses and Multisystem Disease. He was the Founder and Director of the Nanaimo Research Institute.
