The document is a literature review presentation for a group project on a "Super Toy". It discusses why the group chose the project, which was to combine child psychology, neural networks/voice recognition, and artificial intelligence. It then summarizes some existing voice to text conversion technologies and child monitoring systems. Finally, it explains what is unique about their project, which is developing an AI system that allows a mother to monitor a child through a toy without the child knowing, using voice recognition and text conversion.

4. 01.Why we chose the project
The main reason for carrying out this project is to combine the three main
areas which is making a huge change, all around the world. The areas are,
1. Child psychology
02. Neural networks /voice recognition
03. Artificial intelligence
5. 01.Why we chose the project
1. Child psychology:
To understand a relationship as complex as that as between mother and child [1],
it is hardly surprising that many different approaches are needed. Alice cable
say¡¯s If anything, soft toys have established an even more ubiquitous presence
in the lives of children of all ages [2].
2.Neural networks /voice recognition
There is several voice to text conversion software in the market [3],[4],[5],[6].
But none of them is not used to recognize a child¡¯s voice, also cannot be play by
children.
3, Artificial intelligence
There aren¡¯t any Artificial Intelligence is used to with child monitoring and Voice
Recognition systems. Roger C. Schank, Peter G. Childers says using AI We could
teach kids to play video games but not to Monitor them [7].
6. 02.What are existing
Voice to text:
?2002
G.L.Griffith, W.E.Lehder have a patent [08] to communication device which provides
the capability to automatically convert between voice and text messages.
?2003
There is a communication system which connects the hearing user with the assisted
user invented by R.Engelke, K.Colwell, T.Vitek, J.Havens, K.Grittener, D.Hofstetter,
M.Mc Culley [09] .
?2004-2012
There are lots of application which support voice to text conversion.for Android [3],
windows 7[4],for Hindi [5] and for iphones [6].
7. 02.What is existing
Child Monitoring Systems:
?In 1992, [1] There were several books which gave the knowledge for the parents
in monitoring the children and consider the behaviour of children in different
worlds. [10]
?There was a patent [11] for child monitoring system, in which a specific distance
was given. That is, the system will recognise the child¡¯s voice within a certain
distance only.
?In 2002, [12] A child monitoring system including a combination bracelet and
camera transmitting assembly
?In 2012, The present invention provides the child monitoring system with the GPS
facility. [13] The system will keep on sending messages to the mother about the
child¡¯s activities.

9. 03.What is unique in our project
In our system, mother will directly monitor the child, but the child doesn¡¯t know that mother is
monitoring
