In the year, 1973, eleven enthusiasts resolved to form Dumdum FOTO UNIT, an association dedicated to the art of photography. Since then for more than three decades Foto Unit has been contributing substantially to the growth of photography through its multifarious activities, particularly in the field of pictorial photography throughout the country.
