Duncan leads Google's search partnerships in Japan and is also charged with making App Indexing ubiquitous across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Google, Duncan worked as Trade Commissioner in Canada's Foreign and Trade Ministry (DFATD) with assignments in Tokyo, San Francisco, Vancouver and Ottawa. His main focus was helping Canadian IT companies succeed in the global market place as well as attracting major global IT companies to invest in Canada.
Before DFATD, Duncan was the Japan project manager for Molo Design, a Vancouver architecture and design firm with projects in Japan, USA, and Europe. He graduated UBC with a degree in Asian Studies and is fluent in Japanese.
