ICT in Local Government" is a ground breaking project initiated by the Innovation Africa Trust (Kenya) and a growing group of organizations. Participating organizations include first and foremost the Ministry of Local Government and the e-Government Directorate of the Office of the President (both Kenya), the Government of Finland, County Council of Nakuru, County Council of Makueni, Municipal Council of Nakuru, the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) - University of Berne (Switzerland), independent industry association Kenya Information and Communication Technology Federation and Chepkoilel Open Source Software Community of Moi University COSCOMU.
