Dr. Eben J. Muse's research interests lie in the relationship between technology and discourse. His early work explored the way that film and film technology was used to re-imagine past events to fit into current ideology and culture. His book The Land of Nam: The Vietnam War and American Film explored this discourse in the context of America's coming to terms with that War during the Regan and Bush years. He has also studied this relationship through the discourse of teaching and learning (within both individual and organisational contexts).
