Responsible for the whole Brazilian Purchasing Activity including production and non-production purchases. Manage +2000 suppliers and build up a new purchasing strategy. Put in place a whole new organization to boost the purchasing involvement and have a result oriented team. Review of all purchasing procedures and assure to be in line with the new compliance regulations in Brazil. Managing 7 plants plus the corporate office, creating synergy among purchasing and whole plant activities. Worked on the transfer of one production site (transfer of suppliers, make or buy analyses, etc).
