About
Over the course of my academic training in architecture and human geography, I have built a record of research, teaching and publication in cultural landscape analysis, medical geography and disability studies. I moved from Ohio Valley to Center City Philadelphia in June of 2001 and began teaching at Temple University that fall. Between 2002 and 2009, I was assistant professor of urban education and coordinator of disability studies at Temple University. Recently I moved with my partner Carla Keirns to Long Island, where I am a visiting assistant professor at Stony Brook University.
