The memories I have are the memories I keep. The memories my family makes are the ones I will treasure most.
Just looking at a scan of old friends from high school floods tremendous memories that suddenly juxtapose against where I am twenty years later. A mixed bag of excitement, surprise, and sadness- especially of those who are already gone. It literally feels like my past meets the present twenty years later and everyone is old as shit.
If I had to guess at what I am most remembered as it would be that I was artistically creative. That marker still serves as a reference point that defines who I am still today.
