Got a great Husband & two teenage boys. Work as an RN in a surgical ortho unit for DUKE health system.My youngest is Asperger's and deaf with bilateral cochlear implants. My oldest is bipolar and Asperger's. They keep me busy!
I met my now husband in 1986 and moved to New Orleans with him to attend Nursing School. Got married in Jamaica and started our family. Work as RN in rehab and ortho. I LOVE being a nurse and couldn't imagine doing anything else with my life! I especially like the geriatric rehab population and patient education. I run a support group for Auditory Neuropathy, the rare hearing loss my son has.
