What is Cloquo?
Cloquo is a tool and a social network that lets you grab events you find on the Internet that you don¡¯t want to miss out on and turns them into alarms sent directly to your smartphone (iPhone only for now). Later, you can share them and comment on them as well as follow people with similar tastes, and much more.
1. Grab events from the web
2. Turn them into alarms
3. Your iPhone will let you know when it¡¯s time
4. Share alarms with friends
If you use Pocket or Evernote to save events you spot on internet from your computer, now you will save the webpage and also will get an alarm to get reminded about the event when time comes!

3. Problems
Websites full of
dates for things to
do¡ I¡¯m going to
forget them all!
How do we easily
remember dates
for events?
Event websites aren¡¯t
social¡ and there¡¯s
nothing more social
than an event!
4. Existing solutions don¡¯t solve anything
Cons:
- You have to check your
e-mail to see the alert.
- You can¡¯t choose when
they remind you.
E-mail alerts
Cons:
- Tedious. Not fast.
- Require various open
windows.
- Don¡¯t save images or
links to the site.
G Calendar, iCal
Cons:
- They don¡¯t remind you, they
only let you save the site
where you found the event.
Evernote & others
5. The solution is in your pocket
Pros:
- Automatic grab assistant.
- You don¡¯t even have to
leave the webpage.
- You choose when the
alarm will go off.
Pros:
- Onscreen alerts with
sound and text.
- Automatic synchronization.
Doesn¡¯t require an internet
connection to go off.
Pros:
- If you don¡¯t remember a
specific detail, you can
easily visit the website
where you saw the event.

6. Cloquo is social, very social
Share alarms with friends.
If you find out about an event and think that some friends of yours might also be
interested, don¡¯t bother telling them. Share an alarm with them and they can activate
it directly from their email.
Follow people who are into the same things as you.
Many times, what we¡¯re interested in, our friends aren¡¯t. That¡¯s why Cloquo isn¡¯t about
just following friends, it¡¯s about following people who are into the things you are. You
can also activate the alarms set by people you¡¯re following!
Make lists for others to follow and participate in.
If you¡¯re interested in a specific genre of events, the best thing to do is create an alarm
list for it. It can be private but, if you make it public then other people can also follow
the list, and if it¡¯s open, followers can participate and everyone who¡¯s into the kinds of
things can find out about new events.

Downloading the app to manage your alarms
and the browser extension to grab them is
free; the user pays for packages of alarms
that are created by Cloquo.
The benefit lies in the comfort and ease of
immediately getting, for only a few cents, all
the alarms for events in the genres that
you¡¯re interested in.
The scope of the genres for alarms is
broad, which means that one user might
be interested in different categories and
download different packages.
Based on this model, it¡¯s important to have
a good content management policy to offer
interesting packages at all times for the
user-client.
