Hungary's leading guitarist J贸zsef E枚tv枚s was born in 1962 in Pecs. He studied at the Hochschule f眉r Musik in Weimar with Roland Zimmer, where he also studied composition by Franz Just. He graduated in 1987. He played concerts in many countries, among them Austria, Bohemia, Germany, Greece, Japan, Lithuania, Romania, Netherlands, Sweden, Singapore and Slovakia, and regularly gives master classes in Europe and abroad. He established the guitar department at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest, where he currently teaches.
