When I launched aSmallWorld in March 2004, three things were clear to me:
1. The existence of a tight global community of a few million people, where everyone knows each other indirectly, but with no platform to connect.
2. A constant need for trusted and relevant information.
3. The Internet had already become too big and chaotic, with information overload and too much commercial bias.
My goal was to create an intimate corner on the Web. A place where we can let our guard down, reconnect and connect with existing contacts online.
Social media now is about vanity and the noise from yesterday. Best of All Worlds is about utility today and tomorrow, in a trusted environment.
