I am interested in the evolution of sex chromosomes and differences between sexes. Specifically, my thesis deals with gene expression differences between male and female guppies. The guppy or Poecilia reticulata is a tiny freshwater livebearing fish that is native to north-eastern S.America and Trinidad.
