A career in scholarly and academic publishing led me into publishing strategy consultancy. Then a Policy Fellowship with the Open Society Institute changed my direction to a freelance career researching strategy and policy for higher education publishing and communication.
I am now based at the University of Cape Town working in donor-funded projects relating to digital publishing, scholarly communication policy, intellectual property, open access and A2K in Africa.
