Youth in Cuba are systemically deprived their basic human rights. Many young people are repressed for voicing their opinions. The majority of Cuban youth are disenfranchised. The Solution Young Cuban Americans join together in solidarity with their brothers and sisters in Cuba.  They are passionate about their heritage and seek to promote Cuban youth as agents of change.  They strive to empower themselves and youth in Cuba by forming:

The Network More than 2,000 students and young professionals have affiliated themselves and have mobilized in support of our mission. Young professional hubs in three major U.S. cities (New York, Miami, and Washington D.C.) New Media www.RootsofHope.org © Raíces de Esperanza, Inc 2008 Our Student Network has grown 200 percent in one year. Our online reach has grown 1000% in one year through facebook alone. New media and social networking platforms have enabled successful online and offline mobilizations.
