Since discovering that other war veterans were far worse off than I was at the time (1971) I devoted much of my career to studying and helping them, though personally hating war. I helped invent PTSD and expanded widely my interest in the traumatized -- from disaster survivors to those who care for the traumatized.
Today my goals are to continue to help New Orleans recover from Katrina. A way of doing that is building a new type of college course that educates a new generation about New Orleans and disaster resilience. A course that incorporates the best of online video gaming that constantly engages the student. A course that packages knowledge that is more engaging than the standard ...
