I am a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal, since 1998. Most of my teaching activities concern the use of Multimedia in Education (my PhD area) and Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D).
I have participated in several European funded projects on the use of technologies in informal, non-formal and formal learning contexts. Currently I am a member in two of these projects: 1) on the use of Personal Learning Environments in non-formal education for seniors; 2) on the use of Museums as learning spaces on the United Nation鈥檚 Millennium Development Goals.
