Flynn teaches in the School of Education, Health and Human Performance at the College of Charleston, South Carolina training students in sport pedagogy and PreK-5 teacher education. Flynn specializes in the areas of adapted physical education, rhythms and dance in the PE curriculum, and elementary methods. Prior to CofC, she trained future physical education teachers for ten years at Purdue University, IN. She also taught in the public schools in Prince George鈥檚 County, Maryland as a middle school special education teacher and as an Adapted Physical Education Specialist, outside of Toledo, Ohio.
