My objective is to assist in developing solutions that are scalable and are "always on". This involves consulting with customers on how to make the best use of the NonStop software stack, but also to feed back customer experience to the development teams in order to improve the software offerings.
Recent activities resulted in the release of SQL/MX 3.5 with Database Services (DBS). I have created prototypes of how this subsystem should be implemented and how end-users could provision their own databases without requiring access to the system. Those ideas were implemented in the final product.
