Having spent nearly 20 years in the design industry in various account management, new business and PR roles, I decided to set up my own business as a copywriter in 2003. I now work for design agencies and directly for clients. My projects are mainly focused on marketing collateral (brochures, websites, e-letters) but there is often an additional element of strategic marketing consultancy. I write PR articles and presentations but don't get involved in media relations (though I do partner with other people who do this). I also write award entries, particularly for Design Effectiveness. I work across all industry sectors and a high percentage of my work is repeat business.
