Completing my MSc in Disaster Management & Sustainable Development provided a comprehensive understanding of and insight into disaster management models, resilience, humanitarian policies, and UK and international legislation. My thesis reviewed policy and practice in the UK and North Wales, developing my understanding of the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA), and the interconnectedness of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA).
