The Foundation for Women鈥檚 Rights in Kenya is non-profit making organization that was registered as a trust in December 2006. Its purpose is to promote women鈥檚 rights in governance and development processes. FWRK recognizes that gender equity is a prerequisite to achieving long term development goals. It is recognized that gender inequalities are a cause and consequence of poverty in developing countries.
