Solutions At Work, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness by providing individuals and families with resources and opportunities to strengthen their self-confidence, achieve self-sufficiency, and participate in helping others. Solutions At Work was established in 1989 by a group of homeless individuals who found the social services at the time to be lacking. There were handouts such as cots, blankets and sandwiches, but very few opportunities to help people become more self-sufficient by taking control of their own lives and helping other people who face similar challenges.
