P. Ravindra S De Silva is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT). He received Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering at University of Aizu, Japan in 2006. He was a researcher at Toyota Technological Institute (TTI), Japan from 2006 to 2009. His research interest include social robotics, interactive media and interfaces, proxemics on dynamic interactions, human-robot interactions, user modeling based on statistical approach, and exploring robotic systems based on models of human intelligence. Ravindra is the author or coauthor of book chapters, journal, conferences articles and member of IEICE and IEEE.
