I have authored the monumental volume on the history of Salem City, Tamil Nadu, India. The book is jointly written with Mr.Lakshmi Narayanan, the former Curator of Salem Museum, and also Mr.N.Chandransekar. The book traces the evolution of Salem City since 1792. It brings about the contributions of national and regional, political, social and literary personalities to the corpus of Salem. The book analyses the history of Salem from 1792 to 1992. It is currently placed in the national libraries of India, Calcutta, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. Besides, it is preserved in the Library of Congress, Washington. It is cited in various journals and websites too.
