the sands of time tick away.... darkness falls and light fades away.... the pain i fought away is back to its old ways.... eatin me alive bit by bit,day by day.... how can i pertend im happy and gay.... when i cant forget our old ways.... the promise still taunts me,the dreams still haunt me.... like a ghost they come & say "fuck you".... i have no where to run ,no where to hide.... only a bottle & some weed to get me high.... how long will they help.... how long will they last.... someday they'll be gone and ill be through.... and ill lay down and go into the light.... i wont go without a try,i wont go without a fight.... iwill stay up through the night and see these
