I work as Principal User Researcher and UX manager at Informatica (UX team). Since 2013 I've run user research for product teams at Informatica (i.e., big data integration and data analytics products). Previously, I've worked 5-6 years as R&D user researcher at Xerox (Xerox PARC and Xerox Europe), I taught HCI in two universities, and completed my Ph.D. on collaborative software (awareness and common ground tools) with John Carroll and Mary Beth Rosson (Penn State).
My research focuses on specifying requirements, prototyping, evaluating, and innovating user experience for applications aimed at knowledge workers or expert business users in organizations.
