During the February 2009 Victorian bushfires, I was one of the volunteers manning Twitter hashtags (channels) to provide helpful updates, advisories and other information. In late 2010 and the first half of 2011, did voluntweeting in the Israel Forest fire situation, QLD/Brisbane floods, Victorian floods, three tropical cyclones, one Perth bushfire, two Christchurch earthquakes and the Japan quake/tsunami. Continuing role as a volunteweeter.
