The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is calling for student posters to be presented at its 2012 International Symposium in Rome from July 9-12. Students are invited to submit posters describing university research by March 16 for consideration, with selected posters being published online and their authors receiving recognition and presentation opportunities at the symposium. Posters must be in A1 format and discuss systems engineering research undertaken as part of a student's studies.

Call for Student Division Posters
The INCOSE IS 2012 will be in Rome Italy from 9 -12 July 2012 (http://www.incose.org/symp2012/).
The INCOSE Student Division program is soliciting INCOSE members who are university students from
around the world to submit research posters for presentation at the INCOSE IS. Students and academic
advisors are invited to submit a poster describing a piece of research undertaken as part of student
studies, for display at the IS. Posters will be evaluated in both the undergraduate and graduate
programs.

1. Submission Opens: 1 February 2012.
2. Last Day to Submit: 16 March 2012 to david.mason@incose.org.
3. Notification of acceptance: 13 April 2012.
4. Final submissions to the INCOSE 2012 IS Proceeding: 18 April 2012.
5. Posters to be delivered to Assistant Director for Student Division: 2 July 2012.

Research Poster:
Research Posters will be printed in A1 format and to be mounted to the poster panels at the IS.
Posters must standalone, but student and academic advisors who attend the symposium will be given
opportunities to present and discuss their research with other delegates as part of the symposium
exhibition. Students are also invited to submit a synopsis paper to support the poster if appropriate.
Student Posters will become the property of INCOSE Student Division and will be published on the
INCOSE Student Division website. Students desiring to obtain their posters at the conclusion of the IS are
responsible to make arrangements for their posters to be returned.
The author of the best poster in each of the two categories will be awarded student registration costs to
the INCOSE IS 2012, a plaque of recognition, and will be provided 30 minutes to present their paper (20
minutes presentation with 10 minute Q&A) at the Student Division Panel at the INCOSE 2012 IS. The
Student Division Panel will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2012 in the morning session.
Students submitting posters for evaluation must be registered as an INCOSE Student, maintaining a 他
academic load, at the time of poster submittal. Poster submittals will be accompanied with their INCOSE
