Dr. Geoffrey Forden is a physicist who has been working on issues related to arms control, international security, and nonproliferation matters for the last 18 years. Geoff joined Sandia in 2010, where he has worked on a number of projects including arms control, nuclear issues, and furthering the nonproliferation and nuclear security goals of the Departments of State and Energy in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. Geoff was also co-lead of a Sandia effort to understand deterrence in the 21st Century. Before Sandia, he spent ten years as a research scientist at MIT.
