I was born in Blumenau (SC), Brazil. In 1970 I watched Brazil win the World Cup of Soccer ( I still remember the names of the players). Studied at Escola Superior de Teologia (Sao Leopoldo) and got my BA in 1984. From 1985-1990 lived in Evanston, IL (USA) where I attended Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary (Master in Theological Studies) and Rosary College/Dominican University where I got my library degree.
At the end of 1990 returned to Brazil. From 1991-1995 served the Lutheran congregation of Esteio (I am also an ordained Lutheran pastor). From 1995-2004 worked at the Library of Escola Superior de Teologia.
